🎤 About the Author
Major General Sudhir Kumar Datt, a recipient of the Vishist Sewa Medal, served in the army for over 37 years before starting his own business after retirement. He holds a Ph.D. from Chaudhary Charan Singh University and an MSc from the University of Madras. His thesis was on Insurgency in Sri Lanka. He is a prolific writer and has published articles in various magazines. Some of his notable publications include “Terrorism-An Introduction” (published by the Sardar Patel Institute of Public Administration on September 25, 1989), “Commanders of Tomorrow” (published by the College of Combat in April 1983), and “A Battle with a Difference” (published by the Kumaon Regimental Centre in October 1974). General Datt’s commitment to learning is evident, as he underwent rigorous courses to acquire strategic, tactical, and leadership skills during his army days. Even after retiring, he continued to pursue educational skills and training outside the defence domain.
