FMA Bulletin – June 2023

1)Faridabad Management Association(FMA)  organized as a part of its signature Programme “ KAUSHAL VRIDDHI”, a Webinar on ‘ART OF STORY TELLING’ on 2nd June, 2023.   Event started with Address  by Ms. Saloni Kaul, President welcoming Speakers  Ms. Geeta Jain, Founder & Mentor, Mentorw and Ms. Geeta Rajeev, Menor, Mentorw.  They mainly spoke on the Style of communication through story telling for a better and clear  understanding by the customers. It is the story around the facts and dat that provide a context and enable better understanding that stays with the recepients. It was interesting session. Webinar was attended by Industry and Academia.  A vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. V. Thyagarajan at the end of the Session.

2) Another Signature Program Started by Faridabad Management Association(FMA) is the series  Leaadership Lessons from Mahabharat ..  First Episode, a vitual Event “ Leadership Lessons – a Curtain Raiser”  was held  on   3rd June, 2023.  Event started with a Welcome address by Mr. Saloni Kaul,  President, FMA welcoming the Distinguished speaker  Ms. Debasis Satpathy,  General Manager – HR, NBCC, Government of India.  Mahabharat , an ageless Epic continues to inspire people from all walks of life serves as a profound wisdom.  It was a general session and Mr. Debasis  Satpathy gave an overview of  Leadership lessons which can be learnt from Mahabarat.  He also touched upon Bhagwad Gita also. He illustrated by Examples in the form of  Videos and also gave a brief commentarty.  Session was very engaging and well received by the audience who represented Industry as well as academia.  Vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. V. Thyagarajan, Executive Director. FM.

3) Faridabad Management Association(FMA) supported an event conducted by ActionCoach for an Event for Business Leaders and Owners of Faridabad at Crown Plaza, New Delhi on 10th June 2023. The Program was an invaluable resource for  all business owners looking to Scale their Businesses to  the levels they have dreamt of.   Coaches Mr. Ratish Pandey,  Mr. Indranil Mukherjee and Mr. Abhimanyu Yadav  shared their knowledge of Scaling up of Business. They kept the business leaders in an engaging mode.  It was followed by  participants and coaches discussing different started=gies and advice to fuel the growth of their Business.  The Business Leaders of Faridabad who participated and benifitted were  Mr. JP Malhotra, Bharatiya Valves Pvt. Ltd.,  Mr. R.N. Dewan,  CEO, UTE Group, Mr. Shailendra Chaurasia of Phoenix,  Mrs. Siddharth Jain of  DigitalzPro,  Mr. Anurag Pandey, Senior Leader of an Incubation Centre SACC, a Haryana Govt. initiative, Mr. Ravinder Singh,  a Business & Consulting  Professional and  Ms. Saloni Kaul, President FMA and CEO of It s People.   Ms. Saloni Kaul President FMA spoke about the activities of Faridabad Management Associatiom and also gave her concluding remarks

 

, Faridabad Management Association (FMA) conducted a Management Development Program(MDP)  on May, 20th 2023 at Victora Auto, Faridabad  as apart of their Signature Program KAUSHAL VRIDDHI, Faridabad . Topic of the MDP was Stepping into Leadership –A First Time Manager’s Journey towards Organisational Success.  MDP started with a  Welcome Address by CHRO of Victora Auto  Mr, Ajay Somvanshi,  followed  Welcome address by V. Thyagarajan, Executive Director, Faridabad Management Association.  It was  commenced by Initial  Remakrs  by Ms. Charu Smita Malhotra,  General Secretary, FMA to set the motion of MDP..  Resource person for MDP was Ms. Debjani Roy,  Chief HR Advisor , Mind your Fleet & Founder Wind beneath the Wings.  The basic objective was to help Individualcontributors prepare for their new role by focussing on relavent areas of Leading self and leading people as multipliers.           The Program Structure consisted of  3 Modules ie a.  Role of  Understanding & Managing Self,  b. Enabling Performance through people and  c.  Driving Results.  Key Takeaways: were  to help individual contributors prepare for their new role by focusing on relevant areas of leading self and leading people as multipliers. Critical areas of development would be:

  • Self-Awareness: Understanding the role and its key deliverables & measures, one’s strengths against the role and managing the emotional challenges of transition.
  • Team development and management
  • Managing multiple stakeholder relationships.
  • The capability to lead in an uncertain context.

There were 18 Participants from Victora Auto, Imperial Auto Indsutry, Jiva Ayurveda, Sai Packaging, Polymedicure, Vignaharta & Premier Plastomec Industries.  It was a paid program.   Feedback of the event was excellent.
