1) Faridabad Management Association in Association with SACC (Start up Incubation Centre of Excellence) organised a “STARUP PITCHATHON” with an objective to encourage students to dream big and pitch with an idea on 8th Febraury, 2023 at Pt. JLN Govt. PG College, Faridabad. Start ups from various Govt. Colleges of Faridabad and Palwal were invited to make a pitch. Event Started with inaugural address by Mr. Anurag Pandey, Head Start up SACC and appraised about SACC as to what activities they are carrying out to encourage budding entreprenuers. Welcome address was done by Ms. Saloni Kaul, President, FMA. Chief Guest Prof. (Dr.) Mohender Gupta. Principal Pt. JLN Govt. PG College gave the theme address apprasing the Start up Activities happening at Pt. JLN PG Government College. Thereafter the distinguished Jury were called on the Stage. Jury comprised of Ms. Kanchan Satpathy, Director, Forte Point India, Mr. Tanuj Keshwani, Kat & Company and Mr. Rajesh Sethia, Founder CEO, Book my Test Centre. Around 22 Students, each of them made presentation of their dream ideas. The Distinguished Jury on assessing the 22 Students selected the Best Performing Startups ie. Mr. Himanshu Bhardwaj, Start up –Gau Shastra, Ms. Sonam Kapoor, Start up – Sarthi and Ms. Megha, Start-up – Chauhan Institute. Jury also gave the feedback for all the Presenters and also advised how to finance the start ups. Jury along with President FMA Ms. Saloni Kaul, Mr. KP Dhiman, Treasurer and Mr. V. Thyagarajan Executive Director-FMA gave away the awards to there 3 deserving startups. Jury Members have also spoke to these Startups and have assured mentoring them in their future endeavours. It was attended by budding startups and also some participants from the Industry. Mr. Anurag Pandey summed up the event. Finally a Vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. V. Thyagarajan, Executive Director, Faridabad Management Association.
2) Faridabad Management Association (FMA) in Collaboration with Manav Rachna International Institute of Research Studies (MRIIRS) celebrated the National Management Day on 24th Febraury 2023 at MRIIRS, Faridabad. Along with this Signature Event – FMA Awards of Excellence was conducted by Faridabad Management Association. Event Started with Lighting of the Lamp by the Guest of Honour , FMA Governing body Members and Organising Team of Manav Rachna. Welcome Address was delivered by Lt. General R.K. Anand, Director General. MRIIRS. It was followed by Welcome Address by FMA President Ms. Saloni Kaul. Theme for the National Management Day was “MANAGING IN UPRECEDENTED TIMES –The Road Ahead”. Guest of Honour and Distinguished
Speakers who spoke on theme were Mr. Kartik Sharma, National Chairman, Young Leaders Council, AIMA, Dr. Aquil Busrai, CEO Aqui Busrai Consulting, Mr. Vishal Lalani, Managing Director, Indication Instruments Limited, Faridabad and Mr. Govind Singh Negi, Head of Talen(EU-IN) , 3 Pillar Global. Finally Mr. Subhash Jagota, Sr. Vice President, FMA and CEO, Global Business Solutions summed up the Event and Proposed vote of thanks.
Moving on to the next event at the same venue MRIIRS, a Signature Event FMA Award of Excellence and Feliciation of Past Presidents and Core memberswas organised by Faridabad Management Association. It started with a Welcome address by Ms. Saloni Kaul, President, FMA. Citation was read out by Ms. Charu Smita Malhotra, General Secretary, Faridabad Management Association.
