1) Faridabad Management Association (FMA) partnered with Saadho Sangha foundation for a Evening Lecture on Leadership at IFFCO Auditorium, Saket, New Delhi on 6th February. Mr. G.P. Rao, , Founder and Managing Director, GPR HR Consulting LLP welcomed Shri Anish, Spiritual Teacher, Visionary. Leadership Mentor and Founder, Sadhu Sangha
Foundation to speak on Leadership. Thereafter the other speakers who spoke on the subject of Leadership were Sh. Ranjan Kumar Mohapatra, Former Director HR, Indian Oil, Dr. Alka Mittal, Former CMD and Director, HR, ONGC, Prof. Harsh Purohit, Dean, Faculty of Management Studies & Faculty of Law, Banasthali Vidyapeeth and Dr. Sagarika Ghoshal, Alumnus, Banasthali Vidyapeeth. Thereafter a MOU was signed between Saadho Sangha Foundation and Banasthali Vidyapeeth to create a Center for Conscious Leadership which will be run by Saadho s Initiative. Ms. Saloni Kaul, President, FMA, Founder & CEO of It’s People also elaborated some points on Leadership.
2) On 11th February, 2024 Faridabad Management Association (FMA) Conducted its virtual Signature Event -Mahabharata Series- Management Lessons from Mahabharata – Episode 8. Event Started with Welcome Address by Ms. Charu Smita Malhotra, General Secretary of Faridabad Management Association (FMA). She introduced the distinguished speaker Mr. Debasis Satpathy, Chief General Manager, HR of NBCC India Ltd. Discussion Topic for the Day was “LESSONS IN RESILIENCE AND PERSEVERANCE- Insights from Mahabharta for Modern Leaders”.
The Key characters covered in this Episode were Arjun, Karan, Bheeshma & Drona. Also mention of Draupadi was also made. It was attended by participants from Industry and academia. Vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. V. Thyagarajan, Executive Director, Faridabad Management Association.
3) Faridabad Management Association (FMA) celebrated the National Management Day on 20th February 2024 (Tuesday) at School of Leadership & Management, Manav Rachna, University, Aravali Campus, Faridabad. Theme for the Day was “Managing Growth with Transformation, Challenges & Opportunities”. Chief Guest for the Occasion was HIS Excellency Sh. Anil Wadhwa, Ex-Foreign Secretary(East) , Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. Ms. Saloni Kaul, President, FMA delivered the Welcome Address. Session started with 2 Minutes Silence which was observed giving respect to the Departed leader of FMA Chief Mentor and Sr. Vice President Mr. Subhash Jagota. Other Speakers who spoke on the Theme were Mr. D.K. Bakshi, Chief Mentor & CEO, Global Talent Company, Thailand, India & North America, Dr. SY Siddique, Former Executive Adv, Maruti Suzuki & SY Siddiquie Consulting and Dr. Shafali Shah, Head HR, Kingspan Jindal. On this occasion, FMA held The FMA Awards of Excellence 2024 event.
FMA Awards for Excellence serve as beacon recognizing those Individuals and Organizations that have demonstrated exceptional Leadership, Innovation and commitment to Excellence in the field of Management. We applaud not just success but the Journey, the resilience and the ability to adapt to the change -qualities that are at the core of effective management. Ms. Monica Anand, Coordinator -Events -FMA and Director, Anand Engineering Pvt. Ltd read the Citations.
FMA Awards for Excellence was presented by His Excellency Sh. Anil Wadhwa, Ex Foreign Secretary (East), Ministry of External Affairs, GOI. Corporate Leadership Award was presented to Mr Tarun Lamba, CEO Imperial Auto Industries, Faridabad, Excellence in innovation was awarded to Auto Ignition Id., Faridabad, Excellence in Learning & Development was awarded to Mr. Ajay Somvanshi, CHRO, Victora Auto India P Ltd. Excellence in Community Services was awarded to Way of Life Foundation and also Individually to BK Poonam Verma, a Bramhakumari, Excellence in Women Empowerment was awarded to Ms. Harpreet Kaur Taneja, Founder & CEO of Weaving Synergies and Excellence in Academic Excellence was given to Ms. Meenu Sharma of Government Polytechnic, Faridabad. Mr. KP Dhiman, Treasurer, FMA was incharge of the administration of the Events. Event was attended by the Professors, Teachers and Students of School of Leadership and Management of Manav Rachna University and also by the members of FMA and the Corporates of Faridabad. Finally, a Hearty Vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Abhay Kapoor, Past President, FMA and CHRO, Suzuki Motors Gujarat Pvt. Limited.
4. On 20th February, 2024 during the National Management Summit, Faridabad Management Association (FMA) represented by Ms. Saloni Kaul, President and Mr. KP Dhiman, Treasurer and Amazing Work Places represented by Co-founders Ms. Ekta Kapoor and Ms. Shreyasi Raghav have officially entered into a Memorandum of Understanding(MOU) to assist organizations in their transformation to extraordinary. Ms. Monica Anand, Coordinator Events FMA was also present. This collaboration aims to turn our shared vision into tangible reality.
5. Faridabad Management Association (FMA) held a Virtual Meeting on 25th February 24 to pay Homage/Shraddanjali to their departed leader Mr. Subhash Jagota who passed away on 19th Febraury, 2024. He was Senior Vice President of Faridabad Management Association and Chief Mentor. He has been associated with FMA since year 2003.
He has guided FMA since its revival and helped in nurturing FMA as one of the best association. He was a respected Senior HR Leader. Always supportive and Welcoming. He had love for nature and he had grown more than 1000 green plants at his residence. Also he was fond of music and would organized from time to time, family music get-togethers. He was a Rotarian. He has written some good articles and 3 Useful Management Books. He has held position in NHRD. He was a Noble man with a golden heart. FMA would be missing his presence. It was attended by his family members, the Members of FMA, HR Fraternity and professionals from NCR.
